ROOT RESTAURANT

Phillip Lopez, Executive Chef and Co-Owner of ROOT, SQUARE ROOT, and ROOT (squared numeral 2), in New Orleans worked at other well known restaurants in town, ultimately becoming Executive Chef of RESTAURANT RAMBLA (now closed), a contemporary restaurant with French and Spanish influences. My friends and I have been to RAMBLA, which is known for their seafood, and we were curious about this place, which opened in 2011. We went as a small group, really liked the interior design, and basically enjoyed their stand out specialty…which is all that I remember about the evening, and all that I have to suggest:
