As I write this, there has been a recent ownership change that I notice affects one aspect of my recommendations. I have been coming to this wonderful, romantic, architecturally significant restaurant for many years! I always enjoy sitting in their secluded garden courtyard for at least a pre-dinner Martini, and of course for dinner as well, weather permitting. They used to have a courtyard piano bar set up for Friday Martini Hours, but even without that specific event, we can enjoy the courtyard and order Martinis anytime we dine there!! They have the traditional New Orleans menu, but I always seem to order fish. I have taken photos over the years, but couldn’t find any from my collection that really does justice. If you have been to NAPOLEON HOUSE, and enjoyed their historical ambience, FEELINGS is that and more!!
Google it, read their History and Menu; I think you will make the effort to visit!!
My one caveat; this USED to be my number one recommendation for Sunday evening dining when so many good places are closed. Now under new ownership, I see they too are closed Sundays, however they ARE opened ’til 12 AM for their normal hours.
